Where is the Dreams Natura?
Located only 20 minutes from Cancun airport, 40 minutes from Cancun, and 45 minutes from Playa del Carmen.
Since it is centrally located in an area called Riviera Cancun, it’s easy to get out and explore both the Cancun area and the Riviera Maya attractions.

We love Dreams Natura! We’ve had quite a few weddings through the years, and have a lot more on the books for the future, so you can say we know the staff and the property very well.
We’ve visited on more than a few occasions as well, so pretty much everyone in Hola Weddings knows the place like the palm of our hands!

Cons of the Dreams Natura Resort
- The ocean is not your typical Caribbean turquoise.
- The only swim-up bar is located at the adults-only AND Preferred Club pool, so not all guests have access to it.
- Due to the location, cabs are pricey if you want to head out and explore Playa del Carmen or Cancun.
- Wedding venues are not super private.
Rooms & Sections
The 533 rooms are all suites, meaning they offer a living area and all Junior Suites with a king-size bed also have a sofa bed. Most of the rooms accommodate up to 4 guests in a combination of 3 adults and 1 kid, 2 adults and 2 kids, or 1 adult and 3 kids.
The Family Suites are two connecting rooms, one with a king bed and another one with two double beds, accommodating up to 6 guests.
If you want an extra level of luxury, opt for the Preferred Club as it offers a few exclusive services, upgraded amenities, and privileged room locations within the complex.
The Beach at Dreams Natura Riviera Cancun
The beach is soft and white. You can walk for miles in either direction but to one side there is a hotel under construction and to the other, it is deserted.
The ocean water is blue-ish, but due to the location in Riviera Cancun, it is not your typical Turquoise ocean water. There are no rocks on entry for swimming. Just like any other beach in the area, there is a presence of seaweed in the area when in season.
Food & Drinks
The Dreams resorts are known for high-quality food and drink. In addition, to have access 24 hours and room service included, this resort offers 9 different dining options. There is a buffet, French cuisine, a Mexican restaurant, Italian fare, and a steak house.
You do not need to make reservations for the a la carte dining (minus Teppanyaki tables, see concierge) and they have pagers so if they are full for whatever reason when you arrive, you can go for a stroll or grab a drink at the bar and they will page you when your table is ready.
For a quick bite, Coco Cafe is your go-to place. With teas, specialty coffees, pastries, paninis, and fresh fruit. Anything you could need to satisfy your cravings.
The 6 bars will offer both domestic and international options for drinks and are scattered around the pool, lobby, beach, and the nightclub Desires, where adults can go dance the night away and watch sports on the screens.
Activities, Sports, and Kids Club
There is a full daytime schedule for activities, classes, and sports that take place in various locations throughout the property.
Waterslides, a lazy river, and a glider (zipline type of thing) top off the list of things to keep you and your loved ones busy.
The kids club is available to those aged 3-12 and is open daily. The teen lounge is the place your teens will never want to leave – it has video games, table games, and its own snack area.
Nightly entertainment is provided and will vary between live music performances and shows.
Exchange Privileges with Dreams Natura
The AMR Collection Resorts have a program they call Sip, Savor, and See. What this means is that you can dine around the other Dreams Properties and explore the sister resorts. Reservations must be made with the concierge staff, and are subject to availability.
There are five more resorts in the area which are the Dreams Puerto Aventuras, the Dreams Tulum, the Dreams Riviera Cancun, Dreams Jade, and Dreams Sapphire, the last two being the closest ones.

The hotel has several wedding venues to choose from, depending on your tastes.
All are included, minus the over-the-water wedding ceremony or if you want a wedding reception on the beach. However, beach ceremonies and beach cocktail hours are included.
Dreams Natura Beach Ceremony
The beach area for wedding ceremonies is located off to one side, so it makes it more private. The sand is white and soft. There is another area of the beach available if you want a cocktail hour.

Over The Water Wedding Ceremony

Dreams Natura Garden Weddings
A quiet location is hidden in the central area of the resort. The front platform allows guests to better see the ceremony. because it is elevated.

Wedding Gazebo
This unique and beachy wedding gazebo offers ocean views. A great option if you want oceanside but on a hard surface.

Beach Deck
In the same area as the Gazebo, you will find the beach deck. With a large surface spanning across the pool before the beach, this area is an amazing spot for your beachside reception.

Blue Water Rooftop Terrace
Offering a little extra privacy because of the rooftop location, this oceanview terrace has a great breeze and an even better view. This rooftop is stair access only, so keep that in mind if you have guests with mobility issues.
If you want to use this location for the reception, please note there will be a supplemental charge (currently $800+tax). There is no extra charge for ceremonies or cocktail hours.
