Pros and cons of El Dorado Maroma
PROS
- Maroma beach is considered one of the best beaches in the world. It’s wide, and long, receives minimum seaweed and the water is clear and calm. It’s perfect!
- El Dorado properties offer the Gourmet Inclusive program, ensuring the food has excellent quality and flavor.
- The hotel has only 157 suites divided into separate buildings surrounded by lush mangroves, so the general feeling of the property is super private and intimate.
- The wedding venues are beautiful! And due to the size of the beach and the tranquil waters, a beach wedding here is just spectacular!
CONS
- The hotel was built in 2007. It’s very well kept and the grounds are beautiful, but it feels outdated if you compare it to newer modern resorts.
- Wedding packages include semi-private receptions. If you want a private event you need to pay extra.
- Due to the resort’s size, most wedding venues are limited in space, and semi-private receptions can only host up to 20 guests.
