Pool Terrace
Right in the middle of the property, the pool terrace offers a perfect space for open and breezy events surrounded by lush vegetation.

Beach Area
The beach wedding area includes a palapa gazebo, but there’s also space to set up an arch, pergola, or other structure for your ceremony. There’s also enough space for a cocktail reception in the same area.

Mystique Area
The Mystique area is located right next to the cenote pools. This sandy area can be used for cocktails or welcome parties.

Seasoul Terrace
An intimate space for private events, on top of the beach restaurant, so you still have an ocean view and a fresh breeze!

Ballroom
The foyer can be used as a backup for a wedding ceremony, and the ballroom can be divided into several breakout rooms. Ideal if you’re planning to have a truly big fiesta!

Our experience
We just did another site inspection and remembered why we were so in love with the property! We were absolutely confident Secrets Moxche would be a true treasure, and it did not disappoint.
The fine materials, the beautiful design, and the elegant taste are really quite something. The resort has been operating for about 4 years now, and it looks just as amazing as the day it opened!
We have worked with the wedding staff before and know they provide top-notch service. We already have a few weddings booked here, and we look forward to bringing more couples to this impressive resort!

Pros and Cons
Pros:
• Corasol is a gated community in Playa del Carmen, so you have a sense of extra exclusivity and safety.
• The saltwater pool is an incredible option if you feel like the beach is too crowded or not your favorite place to be at the resort.
• The wedding venues are truly unique. Everything is so lush and beautiful that you will need to add very few decor elements for your wedding.
• All Secrets Resort brand offers a very similar restaurant selection at every property, but not here. Most of the restaurants at Secrets Moxche can’t be found anywhere else, making it a true one-of-a-kind hotel.
• There are tons of loungers and decks to tan and relax, you won’t be playing any chair games or having a hard time finding some personal space next to the water.
Cons:
• Restaurant menus are something they may need to work on; descriptions are so minimal that you don’t really know what you are ordering. If there is a habanero pepper in my dish, I surely want to know before taking a huge bite!
• The beach is nice and ideal for swimming, but other areas in the Riviera Maya have larger beaches and clearer waters.
• The music everywhere is loud and almost too lively and hip. If you are familiar with the AMResorts properties, it felt like a Breathless Resort. Just not something you would expect at a super high-end, elegant, and relaxed luxury resort.
Rooms & Sections
Secrets Moxche is an all-suite resort, so you already know the rooms are spacious, with seating areas and extra space to unwind.
Everything looks modern and has a unique design touch. Think of natural materials like dark stones and wooden furniture combined with neutral colors. It’s just sleek, minimal, and chic.
Guests staying in the Preferred Club have access to the exclusive rooftop lounge with panoramic views of the entire property and a bar featuring premium spirits, liquors, and appetizers. They will also enjoy a private restaurant for breakfast and a designated beach club area.
The Beach
The beach is very clear and swimmable. They left a few bushes, tropical plants, and lots of palm trees, so it feels very untouched and natural.
It’s no secret that the Riviera Maya gets hit by seaweed from time to time. Well, at Secrets Moxche, you won’t need to worry about that. An expansive, free-form, saltwater pool is there to satisfy your beach desires, in case the ocean is not available for any reason. They even put sand around it so it truly feels like a beach!
Food & Drinks
With eleven dining outlets, you will certainly have endless options to satisfy your cravings from sunrise to sunset. Enjoy gourmet French, Italian, Mexican, modern Japanese, and Southeast Asian specialties, an open-fire grill for fine cuts of meat, an international buffet, and a cozy 24-hour coffee shop.
Having the time to visit every restaurant will be your only concern about food at Secrets Moxche!
Also, guests looking for a truly elevated gourmet experience can access the Authors’ Choice Signature restaurant at Secrets Impression Moxche (opening later this year) for an additional fee.

At night, you can enjoy daily shows featuring live bands, dancers, and aerialists at the high-tech, closed, air-conditioned, floor-to-ceiling LED-screen theatre. Just spectacular!
