Policies
- Package is for 10 guests, additional cost will apply if the number of guests is exceeded. The maximum is 30 people including the wedding couple.
- Valid for the USA and Canada markets.
- Free Collection is subject to the mandatory payment of the Minister / Judge services, administrative charges and applicable taxes.
- Add-ons available for customizing your special day (ask your wedding planner).
- Any other services not mentioned here are available with an extra charge.
- In case of bad weather wedding cannot be cancelled, it will be moved to back up. Once the packages and extras are paid, they are not refundable.
- Packages prices do not include accommodations.
- Package inclusions can not be exchanged for other services. There are no refunds in cash or credit for services not utilized.
- The couple and 80% of their guests must stay at the same Riu Hotel where the wedding will be performed. Only 20% of the total group can stay at another hotel, wedding couple must purchase a established wedding package.
- Wedding guests who are not staying at the resort must purchase a Day Pass plus ceremony & dinner costs. Please contact your Onsite Coordinator for current Day Pass costs.
- Couples have to arrive at least two (2) full business days for Symbolic Ceremony or Renewal of Vows and three (3) full business days for a civil ceremony, prior the wedding date. Please note that arrival day, Weekends or National Holidays do not count as business days. Weddings and events are not performed on Sundays & National holidays. For Civil Weddings witnesses must also arrive 3 business days prior to the wedding date.
- Confirmed weddings cancelled within a month of the ceremony date or upon arrival to the hotel will be charged a cancellation fee of $250.00 USD.
- Once that the wedding coordinator is in contact with the Bride in order to finalize all Wedding arrangements, changes of the Wedding package won't be accepted.
- After the Wedding Ceremony reservation is confirmed, any change in the Collection or increase in the number of guests must be notified no later than 6 months before the wedding. Modifications requested after this time, are subject to hotel's availability.
- Wedding petitions received with 30 days-notice or less will be automatically canceled.
- All resorts are All-Inclusive for meals and drinks in restaurants, bars, and common areas during the regular service schedules. Weddings, birthdays, or any other type of celebrations that require a private event are not considered within the All-Inclusive room rate, thus, additional costs might apply.
- External vendors are allowed, if they are staying at the Hotel where the wedding will be performed or if they pay a Vendor's Fee. External services of Flowers, food and cakes are strictly prohibited due to sanitary issues.
- Free Collection is promotional and subject to change without prior notice.
- This resort do not perform Weddings on Sundays and Holidays., neither Catholic ceremonies.
