Policies
- The wedding couple and at least 80% of guests must stay in the same Riu Hotel where the wedding will be performed purchasing a established wedding package. Wedding package inclusions are not interchangeables & reception dinner must take place at the same Riu hotel where the wedding will be performed.
- IMPORTANT: Please consider that due to high demand wedding petitions made less than 30 days prior to the ceremony date are considered last minute and will be automatically rejected. No exceptions will be made.
- Clients staying at other chain hotel and they wish to attend to the wedding, there will be a charge of a day pass cost established by the hotel. Customers staying at another Riu Hotel and wish to visit one of the Riu Palace property will need to acquire a wedding day pass for the ceremony and cover additional prices for the dinner-reception.
- Couples must respect the arrival date, they have to arrive at least two (2) full business days for symbolic ceremony and three (3) full business days for a civil ceremony, prior to the wedding date. Please note that arrival day, Weekends or National Holidays do not count as business days. Weddings and events are not performed on Sundays & National holidays.
- Confirmed weddings cancelled within a month of the ceremony date or upon arrival to the hotel will be charged a cancellation fee of 250.00 USD*.
- External vendors are allowed if they pay a Vendor's Fee of $200.00 USD* per person (photographers and videographers must cover a $500.00 USD* fee per person).
