How the wedding can be complimentary
The Wedding in Paradise package can be complimentary, and there are two common paths:
- Book the stay: reserve at least 7 nights in a Preferred Club Junior Suite Ocean Front (or a higher category), and the Wedding in Paradise package is complimentary.
- Book a small room block: alternatively, when 5 rooms in any category are booked for at least 3 nights, the package can be complimentary.
- Guests covered: up to 10 guests are included complimentary under this package.
- Larger groups: bigger group weddings generally work around a room-night threshold (roughly 75 room-nights), and the exact terms change, so your planner confirms the current thresholds before you commit.
A few conditions shape the complimentary package. The free Wedding in Paradise package covers the ceremony only, so it suits a small ceremony or a vow renewal with no extra events. Complimentary and base ceremonies are scheduled at 11:00am or 2:00pm; the prime afternoon slots (4:00, 5:00, and 6:00pm) are reserved for larger couples booking a paid collection such as Eternal Love, Beyond Memorable, or Dulha & Dulhan. And to unlock the complimentary rate, at least 80% of your guests must book a minimum of 3 nights, though high-season and holiday dates can require a 5 to 7 night minimum.

- Religious: possible thanks to the on-site chapel. The planner does not handle religious paperwork; you contact the church directly for all of it, and requirements depend on the officiant and faith.

Getting there & when to go
Dreams Tulum has two airports within easy reach. The newer Tulum International Airport (TQO) is about 1 hour away, or roughly 50 minutes without traffic, while Cancún International Airport (CUN), the busiest in the region with direct flights from across North America, is about 2 hours north, around 2 hours 10 minutes without traffic. Between them, almost any guest list can find a convenient route. Once you arrive, downtown Tulum and the Mayan ruins are about five minutes away and the region’s cenotes are around twenty, so there is plenty for guests to explore between wedding events.
The Riviera Maya’s peak wedding season runs roughly November through April, which is drier, cooler, and busiest. May and early summer bring lower rates; late summer and early fall are the value season but overlap with the Caribbean’s rainier months, which is exactly when that indoor ballroom and on-site chapel earn their keep.
