We had the opportunity to stay at this resort and it’s just beautiful! Every single corner has a beautiful thing to look at, your Instagram will go crazy. We can’t wait to start sending wedding couples and groups to this beautiful resort.

Pros and cons of the Hilton Cancun
PROS
- The resort is conveniently close to the Airport, making it super easy to get to that pool or snack bar after a long day of traveling!
- Kids and teens areas are incredible. This resort is evidently designed to please the younger members of the family.
- If you’re in a hurry and need to leave, you can grab a snack at the coffee shop. If it’s too busy or you are craving something different, you can go to the buffet and just ask for a container, take whatever you wish, and just leave. We’d never seen that and it’s super convenient!
CONS
- No adults-only pool or area. The chill pool may be a little quieter but you can still find kids in it, making it a little difficult to find a romantic and private spot.
- There is no after-hours bar or nightclub. They do offer great live entertainment and music, but you may need to go to Cancun if you want to party.
- You must make reservations for dinners while on the property, they can’t be made prior to arrival. This can limit your choices for the first few nights of your stay.
Rooms and Sections
Rooms are wide, spacious, and with lots of light. Decor is sober but it winks to the local surroundings with natural elements and artisan pieces here and there. Most of them have balconies where you could watch the extensive natural mangroves or the resort and beach areas.
Bathroom amenities are minimal but include everything you could need. Shampoo, shower gel, conditioner, and body lotion. For specific products, there’s the lobby shop or maybe bring them from home.
Sleep arrangements go to a maximum of 3 or 4 guests in every room. But being this a family resort there is the 2 bedroom family suite, providing accommodations for up to 6 guests. A truly interesting fact about this room is that it has no balcony, and the huge windows are safety-proof. So no worries for kids running and playing around!
The Beach
The hotel is built in a large line parallel to the ocean, providing water views from pretty much everywhere at the resort.
The beach in this area is generally not that impressive and clear. It is swimmable and for sure you could enjoy some time in the ocean, but it will not be the key factor to choose this resort. The pools surely make it up for it!
Food & Drinks
The culinary options are wide and will surely cater to every taste. The breakfast buffet is one of the best we’ve seen in a long time in terms of quality and variety and the food is simply delicious.
If you are hungry midday you can easily grab a snack at the lobby café, at the taco spot by the pool, or visit a beautiful ocean view lounge for an Asian-style experience! Room service is also available with a 24-hour menu. And the lobby bar is the place to be before or after dinner to mingle with other guests and listen to live music.
Dinners are a whole different concept with a much more elegant and chic vibe. You can select from a traditional Mexican restaurant, a Mediterranean classic trattoria, an open-fire elegant grill, and a Southeast-Asian lounge to spend a wonderful evening.
What truly stands out from the rest, is the ice cream and churro shop. If you ask me, it’s a dream come true. Unlimited cupcakes, churros with multiple fillings, and ice cream with endless toppings. I’m in heaven!
Activities, Sports & Kids Club
Join a beach volleyball match, bike tours, pool games, craft making, ceramic painting, and many other things to do during the day. The whole family is invited.
Kids and teens are transported into a world of fun with the splash playground, scavenger hunts, mini chef cooking classes, gaming stations, teens disco, and movie nights.
During the evenings, you can take part in a true Mexican fiesta or any other themed night, experience live shows at the amphitheater, and enjoy live music and performances.

Staying at the Hilton Cancun will not grant you access to any other Hilton Resort nearby, but with so many things to do, see and taste, I wouldn’t leave the property!

With a stunning ocean view, a hard surface floor, and different terrace levels to make sure everyone gets to see you during that special moment! MAXIMUM CAPACITY: 120 guests for a ceremony and a cocktail hour.
Amphitheater
This location is ideal if you want a different ceremony experience. It has a roof to cover you from the weather but it still feels very open and tropical. MAXIMUM CAPACITY: 150 guests or more for a ceremony.
Pool Terrace
Located right next to the pool and provides a beautiful ocean view. MAXIMUM CAPACITY: 300 guests for a cocktail hour or reception.
Rooftop Terrace
