Pros and cons of the Dreams Los Cabos
PROS
- The resort has a beautiful traditional Mexican colonial style that transports you to a different era.
- Pools are heated! Perfect for those windy and chilly desert evenings. Also, both pools have a swim-up bar so you will never be thirsty.
- There seem to be more than enough loungers around the pools. And they are so comfy too!
- We’ve been to many Dreams resorts and this Coco Cafe coffee shop is one of the best. A lot of options, sweet treats, and gourmet coffees.
CONS
- Like in many other resorts in the area, the beach here is not swimmable. It’s gorgeous, but you can’t really go into the water.
- We could say dinner options are somewhat limited in comparison to the number of rooms. High season can mean long lines to get a table!
- The resort performs two weddings a day. Being this a more boutique resort, it could feel like a lot!
Rooms and Sections
All the accommodations at the Dreams Los Cabos are suites which means more space and a separate living area with a sofa bed and a desk for those who must work (on vacations?) They all provide balconies with impressive views of the ocean or the desert gardens and the property.
For families who want to stay together, the two-bedroom family master suite will provide everything they need. With a maximum capacity of 6 guests, unmatched oceanfront views, two full bathrooms, separate dining and a living area will make you feel right at home.
If you are looking for a higher level of luxury and pampering, the Preferred Club rooms will allow exclusive access to a premium lounge with appetizers and a specialty drink menu, a designated beach area, special concierge services, and a complimentary 20-minute massage and access to the spa hydrotherapy.
The Beach
The infinite deep blue ocean extends as far as the eye can see. Sunsets are a complete dream and the large sandy area is perfect for morning strolls or evening promenades. Also, you can host large beach weddings for up to 300 guests!
Unfortunately, you can only contemplate the ocean. The nearest swimmable beach is 20 minutes from the resort, and you can find a marina, beach clubs, restaurants, and art shops. It may be worth the trip!
