Tulum Wedding Packages: Best All-Inclusive Resorts, Venues & Real Costs (2027-28)

Tulum is the destination couples picture when they say “boho beach wedding”: jungle meeting white sand, cenotes, and that famous light. But comparing Tulum wedding packages is harder than it should be: the boutique hotels on the beach road rarely publish prices, and the all-inclusive resorts that do bury the numbers in PDFs. This guide fixes that. Below are real 2027 package prices and venue capacities for the four all-inclusive wedding resorts near Tulum in our database, from an $689 ceremony at Bahia Principe to the $19,500 top-tier package at Hilton Tulum, plus the free-wedding conditions, day-pass rates, and the airport math that changed in Tulum’s favor. Our planning help is free: resorts pay us, you don’t.

What a Tulum wedding package costs in 2027

According to Hola Weddings’ database of 858 resorts, here is the 2027 package spread at the four all-inclusive Tulum wedding resorts. Every price is the package only; rooms are booked separately, which is where the best available group rate for your room block does the heavy lifting.

Two numbers to keep in view as you compare. First, the guests included column matters more than the sticker: Hilton’s $3,500 Signature package already covers 30 guests, so for a 30-person wedding it can undercut a cheaper-looking package plus 20 extra-guest fees. Second, extra adults are billed per person, $20–$25 per adult at the Dreams and Secrets entry tiers and rising to $70 per adult on Hilton’s top tiers, so a 60-guest wedding on a 10-guest package carries real add-on cost. We run that math for free before you commit, and you can compare wedding packages across every destination on our packages hub.

The Central Beach ceremony area at the Secrets Tulum Beach Club, an adults-only option steps from the Caribbean.

Secrets Tulum Resort & Beach Club is the adults-only pick, set inside the Aldea Zama district about 40 minutes from Tulum’s airport, with a twist no other resort here offers: most of its wedding venues are rooftop sky spaces. The Sky Wedding Gazebo seats 150 with jungle-to-sea views, backed by a Rooftop Garden Spa (150), Luna Terrace (100), and Sky Deck (80); receptions can also run at the Jaguar Ballroom (150) or down at the beach club’s Seaside Restaurant and Barracuda Bar (80 each), with a Central Beach ceremony spot for 80. Pricing mirrors its Dreams sibling one notch up: Wedding in Paradise at $1,599 (same free-wedding conditions), Eternal Love at $5,349 for 20, the Dulha & Dulhan South Asian package at $11,199, and Beyond Memorable at $12,649 for 79 guests. Hilton Tulum Riviera Maya: the big-group play

Main Beach Center wedding venue at Hilton Tulum Riviera Maya All-Inclusive Resort, Tulum, Mexico
Main Beach Center at Hilton Tulum Riviera Maya All-Inclusive Resort seats beach ceremonies for up to 250 guests.

If your guest list is large, Hilton Tulum Riviera Maya All-Inclusive Resort is the only Tulum property built for it. Its Tulkal Ballroom holds up to 2,000 people, convention-grade capacity no one else in the area approaches, alongside a 500-guest second ballroom, a 400-guest terrace, and beachfront ceremony settings for 250–300 with a 230-capacity beach-deck stage. Every 2027 package includes 30 guests: Signature at $3,500, Devotion at $8,400, Cherish at $14,500, and Cherish Captured at $19,500 with the full photography and production layer; extra adults run $30–$70 per person by tier. It sits about 55 minutes from Tulum airport and 90 from Cancún. Venue photos: Hilton Tulum venues page.

Bahia Principe: the budget door in

Beach Wedding Gazebo ceremony venue at Bahia Principe Explore Tulum, Riviera Maya, Mexico
The beach Wedding Gazebo at Bahia Principe Explore Tulum.

Bahia Principe, in the resort complex on Tulum’s northern edge, consists of five resorts: Bahia Principe Explore Akumal, Bahia Principe Explore Coba, Bahia Principe Explore Tulum, Bahia Principe Escape Tequila (18+), and Bahia Principe Escape Sian Ka’an (18+). It has the lowest entry price of the four: the Blissful symbolic-ceremony package at $689. The ladder climbs through Joyful ($989 for 10), Delightful ($2,189 for 25), and Beautiful ($4,589 for 30) to Wonderful at $8,469 for 40 guests, plus Sundara, a dedicated South Asian wedding program at $7,945 for 50. Ceremonies run at a wedding gazebo, a chapel, or the beach ceremony area; ask us for current capacity limits per spot, as they vary with setup. If budget is the constraint and you want a real all-inclusive rather than a beach-road boutique, this is the door in.

Tulum Wedding Venues: Every All-Inclusive Space, by Capacity

Tulum has fewer all-inclusive wedding venues than Cancún or the Riviera Maya, which is good news: the whole list fits on one page. These are the ceremony and reception spaces at the five all-inclusive resorts in and around Tulum, with the capacity each resort gives us. Use it to rule resorts out fast — if you have 120 guests, three of the five below simply cannot hold your reception.

Catalonia Royal Tulum’s cenote is the one genuinely Tulum-looking ceremony spot available at an all-inclusive resort — a freshwater sinkhole in the resort’s own grounds, capped at 25 guests. If a cenote ceremony is the reason you are looking at Tulum, this is the only all-inclusive that can do it on property; everything else means an off-site cenote permit and a vendor contract.

Bahia Principe Luxury Sian Ka’an

Bahia Principe Luxury Sian Ka’an (adults-only) holds a beach ceremony area, a wedding gazebo and a wedding chapel. The resort does not publish per-venue capacities, so we confirm the usable guest count with its wedding office for your date rather than quoting a number here. Its packages start lower than anything else in Tulum, which makes it the budget entry point — see the package table above.

The short version, by guest count

  • Up to 25 — every Tulum resort works, and Catalonia’s cenote becomes an option.
  • 25 to 60 — all five resorts can host you; Secrets Tulum’s rooftop spaces and Dreams Tulum’s palapa are the most distinctive.
  • 60 to 150 — Dreams Tulum, Secrets Tulum or Hilton Tulum. Catalonia and Bahia Principe drop out.
  • 150 to 450 — Dreams Tulum’s beach and ballroom, or Hilton Tulum.
  • 450 and above — Hilton Tulum only. Its Tulkal Ballroom is the single largest wedding venue in the Tulum area.

Boutique Tulum vs. all-inclusive Tulum: an honest word

The Tulum of Instagram, jungle chapels and candlelit beach clubs on the hotel-zone road, is mostly boutique hotels that host beautiful weddings at à la carte prices: venue fee, outside caterer, rentals, per-drink bar. Budgets there are unpredictable and frequently land far above an all-inclusive package once every vendor invoices separately. The four resorts above trade a little of that indie aesthetic for fixed pricing, on-site coordinators, and rooms, food, and drink handled in one booking, which is why they’re what we recommend for weddings with real guest lists. If you’re still weighing the wider region, our Riviera Maya wedding packages guide covers the coast north of Tulum, and the Cancún wedding packages guide handles the airport end of the strip.

Logistics: airports, seasons, and the legal part

  • Airports: Tulum International (TQO) now puts these resorts 40–55 minutes from touchdown; Cancún (CUN) usually has more flight options and prices, at a 90–105 minute transfer. For guests, we typically block transfers from whichever airport their routes favor.
  • Season: the dry months from roughly November through April are peak wedding season on this coast; summer brings heat, some rain, and, in some years, sargassum seaweed on the beaches, which is worth planning around rather than gambling on.
  • Legal vs. symbolic: most couples marry legally at home and hold a symbolic ceremony in Tulum. It’s simpler, and every package above supports it. A legal Mexican ceremony is absolutely doable with the right paperwork lead time; our guide to getting married in Mexico walks through both routes.
  • Budget beyond the package: for the full picture of what a destination wedding really costs (travel, rooms, extras), see our destination wedding cost Q&A.

Tulum wedding packages: FAQ

How much does a Tulum wedding cost?

All-inclusive Tulum wedding packages run $689–$19,500 in 2027, per Hola Weddings’ resort database. Symbolic ceremonies start at $689 (Bahia Principe), 10-guest packages run $989–$1,599, mid-size packages for 20–30 guests run $2,189–$4,849, and the top tiers reach $8,469–$19,500. Rooms and guest stays are booked separately.

Which Tulum resort is best for a wedding?

It depends on the wedding: Dreams Tulum Resort & Spa for mixed-age groups and the widest venue choice, Secrets Tulum Resort & Beach Club for adults-only rooftop ceremonies, Hilton Tulum Riviera Maya for large guest lists (its ballroom holds up to 2,000), and Bahia Principe for the lowest entry price.

Can you get married in a cenote in Tulum?

Off-resort cenote ceremonies are possible as private-venue events, but they price à la carte rather than as a package. If a cenote setting matters to you, tell us and we’ll check which resorts on your shortlist can offer one.

Is a Tulum wedding legally binding?

It can be. Legal civil ceremonies in Mexico require documents, blood tests, and lead time, so most couples legally marry at home and hold a symbolic Tulum ceremony that looks identical to guests. Every package in this guide supports either route.

When is the best time for a Tulum wedding?

November through April is Tulum’s dry season and peak wedding window: warm, low humidity, minimal rain risk. May through October is hotter with afternoon-storm chances and possible sargassum seaweed; if you book those months for the value, choose a resort with strong indoor and rooftop backups like Secrets Tulum or Hilton Tulum.
